GENERAL BUSINESS, USE & GOVERNANCE POLICY

This General Business, Use & Governance Policy (“Policy”) governs all interactions with VeraMade LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operating under the brand names Vera’s Handmade with Love and Vera’s. It applies to all website visitors, customers, clients, users, contractors, collaborators, and any individual or entity engaging with the Company in any capacity.

By accessing our website, purchasing products, booking consultations, engaging services, or otherwise interacting with the Company, you agree to be bound by this Policy and all related policies incorporated herein, including but not limited to the Terms and Conditions, Returns & Exchanges Policy, Privacy Policy, and Legal Notice & Disclaimer, as each may be updated from time to time.

1. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use this website or transact with the Company. If you are under 18, use of the website is permitted only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these policies.

2. SCOPE OF OPERATIONS; EVOLVING PRODUCT CATEGORIES
The Company offers handmade jewelry and may, from time to time, offer additional handmade products, limited collections, artistic objects, or services. All offerings—whether current or future—are subject to this Policy and all related Company policies unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.

3. HANDMADE NATURE; VARIATIONS
All items are handmade. Variations in color, texture, patina, oxidation, finish, size, weight, stone inclusions, wire patterns, and appearance are inherent characteristics of handcrafted work and natural materials and are not defects. Product images are representative only; lighting and device displays may affect appearance.

4. MATERIAL & HEALTH DISCLAIMER
All products are decorative only. No product, service, statement, or consultation is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or health condition. Individual skin reactions vary. You assume all risks associated with wearing and using products.

4A. MATERIALS DISCLOSURE
All materials used are selected and described in good faith based on supplier information and artisan knowledge. Due to the handmade nature of the work, the use of natural materials, and the potential for trace elements in metals, stones, chains, or findings, exact material composition cannot be guaranteed. Items may contain trace or unknown elements not intentionally added. Individuals with known sensitivities or allergies should exercise discretion before purchase and wear.

5. CARE, USE & SAFETY
You are responsible for proper use and care of all products. The Company is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, improper care, accidents, alterations, exposure to chemicals or moisture, or normal wear.

6. CUSTOM WORK & CONSULTATIONS
All consultations are paid and non-refundable. Consultation fees do not guarantee project acceptance. The Company reserves the unrestricted right to refuse any request or project at its sole discretion. All designs, sketches, renderings, concepts, drafts, and intellectual property created remain the exclusive property of the Company, whether or not a purchase is completed. All custom-made items are final sale due to their personalized and sanitary nature.

7. READY-MADE SALES
Ready-made items are exchange-only under the Returns & Exchanges Policy. No refunds are issued unless required by law.

8. PRICING & ERRORS
Prices and availability may change without notice. The Company reserves the right to correct errors and cancel orders as necessary.

9. SHIPPING & RISK OF LOSS
Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon carrier acceptance. The Company is not responsible for delays, loss, theft, or incorrect addresses once shipped.

10. FORCE MAJEURE
The Company is not liable for delays or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, illness, supply shortages, carrier disruptions, or government actions.

11. LIMITED AVAILABILITY
Handmade items may be produced in limited quantities or as one-of-a-kind pieces. Availability is not guaranteed, and the Company is not obligated to restock, reproduce, or continue offering any item.

12. COLLABORATIONS AND THIRD-PARTY CONTRIBUTIONS
From time to time, the Company may offer products or services created in collaboration with independent third parties. The Company is not responsible for representations, warranties, or actions of collaborators beyond what is expressly stated at the time of sale.

13. WEBSITE USE
Unauthorized use, scraping, copying, interference, or misuse of the website is prohibited.

14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, designs, images, text, and concepts are owned exclusively by the Company. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

15. USER CONTENT LICENSE
By submitting content, you grant the Company a perpetual, royalty-free license to use it for business and marketing purposes.

16. PAYMENT DISPUTES
Customers agree to contact the Company before initiating disputes or chargebacks. Policy acceptance may be submitted to processors.

17. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
All products and services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

18. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

19. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from claims arising from your use of the website, products, or services.
